Qualification

When people get A-levels is this any step up on the career ladder from going to work after GCSE's. Or is the sole point of an A-level qualification to get you into university.

I think most people use A levels to get into uni, but A levels show that you have reached a certain standard of education in general, and that you are able to deal with more complex and demanding work than if you had just done GCSEs.
Depends on what you want to do I guess.

Thanks, I actually am at uni but it was just a thought about a few pplI knew that went to 6th form but didnt bother goin to uni after A-levels.
