There's two songs on The Social Network Soundtrack that I like. "In Motion" and "Hand Covers Bruises". If they don't count, then none.

Actually, that "Closer" song gives me laughs.

Excluding the Pretty Hate Machine tracks for a moment, mine would be The Collector (With Teeth) as I think the improvised piano works so well with the bass towards the end.

Can we only choose one? Don't know if I can pick one from all of the songs, but Downward Spiral (1994?) was probably my favorite album. Because at the time I was in college, and probably about 18 or 19. At the time parts of my life where I was living were not always so great. But Trent's music provided a means of escape at least in my mind. I think that was the music from him that I "connected" to most. So became my favorite.

oh and the 'why' bit; well the first time i heard it i was lying in bed thinkin about life n junk while listening to the ipod and it just kinda described a couple feelings i had about my situation at the time and opened my eyes a bit...i dunno it's just a brilliant song
