LAW llb combined with crim- will i be able to drop crimonology ?

Heyy! :smile: my back up is law and crim llb


if i was to do law llb combined with crim, would i be able to drop the crim and just carry on law as a degree?

Probably not since law is so competative.
It would depend on the university policy because they will probably realise that a lot of people will apply for "law with" courses as the entrance requirements tend to be lower. If all of these people then decide to swap to straight law, the university would be in a mess.

Therefore, I'd assume they will have some kind of policy and system with regards to changing courses. It might be that you can't swap to straight law because you won't have done all of the required modules whilst you're studying criminology, or it could be that they do offer students the chance to switch when they arrive.

If you want to change before you even arrive then you need to contact the department and ask them.
