Disagree.
In Barcelona it's also quite cold (don't trust the two or three degrees of difference... it is way cold here now), and I find England as boring as Spain.
Of course, being a tourist nothing is boring. But I live in Spain, and the Spain for residents is quite different from the Spain for tourists. :p:

It's only boring if you're a boring person.
No... you just make it boring.

Compared to what? England is fantastic - where have you been?

I doubt it's as exciting as TV and films makes out!
It will be boring wherever you go. Glass isn't greener on the other side.
It depends on the city really.
What's all the US high school love for? It looks dreadful. It isn't like, actually like High School Musical you know... >_>

the issue is the people, not the place. everyone here is so negative.

England is dignified and pastoral.

If you want ostentation, move to Paris or NY.
i agree it is the people and not the place, thats why i'm migrating to Australia after uni (already have a visa!)

On the other side o the channel in this case, like France
Boring is better than war-torn. Try for some gratitude, maybe?

Weird statement, I know what you're trying to say but what about an actually boring place, a library, the countryside, so those places will be boring if you're boring?

It's not much better here, I assure you. :erm: But everywhere's what you make of it, I guess. If you move somewhere with the intention to make a go of it and have fun, then you will. Same goes for where you currently are.
