Any degree dropouts out there?

Did anyone start a degree, then change their mind during it, dropout and end up doing something entirely different?

If you go to the "general university forum", at the top there's a sticky about dropping out. It's long, but you'll find loads of people have dropped out!

what are you doing now? Did things turn out for the best, or was it the most fatal mistake in your life??

I feel generally that dropping out of a postgrad course is much more of a big deal than undergrad. It's more expensive, there are no second chances and it looks worse on a CV (as people are more understanding if you're younger and make mistakes). Would you say so?

I ask because I'm v.afraid I might not make it through my MA and I feel like I gave up so much to do it and paid sooo much :eek:
