Taking a year out
Hi,
I'm a third year language student studying Russian and German at Sheffield Uni. I'm currently on my study abroad year, but am hoping to do a further year abroad next year to further improve my language skills. The school has said it is possible, but I don't know what the implications are in terms of my student finance funding- does anyone have any idea? Will I have to pay tuition fees while I'm away? Will my tuition fees rise when I get back?

Ask the uni if they will charge you tuition fees.
