well i currently have my custom build desktop running with these specs:
    3.2 x2 amd am3 processor
    4gb (2x2gb) 1333MHz ddr3 ram
1 x 500gb western digital hdd - sata (with windows 7 32 bit on it)
    1 x 1tb Samsung hdd - sata

and atm ive been using the vga port off my motherboard - http://www.ebuyer.com/product/193510 - and decided its about time for a graphics card.

what would be the best option for a graphics card around £50-£60 to use the hdmi to play 1080p movies ect

    thanks everyone

The GTX 260 is an absolute bargain for it's performance. I've got the GTX 260 Core 216 version, and it runs all the new games on max+ settings no problem even with my ****ty processor, an E6400.
