    My mum's a pro at making both of these. :proud:

    Though saying 'my mum's a pro at...' doesn't seem to cut it anymore for a 20 year old Turkish female. I've helped in making baklava a few times though so I should be able to make it for myself soon enough. :smug:

    My mum is hopeless at baklava but she makes the best Sutlac in the world. That's quite the claim but its justifiable. :pierre:

    Believe it or not, its basically milk rice and sugar. Rice pudding in English. But we do it 100 times better :pierre:

    The Koska shops in Istanbul are like sweet heaven.

    Any Turkish delicacy can be found in those shops.
