Just solve all the past papers, my teacher solved with us every question in the past papers, and i then got 118!!?!?!? my friend got 115 and the other got 110. Just try to solve as much as you can, read all the examiner reports for the question papers, and study from the revision guide before the exam, i really learned many things from it. Try to solve its questions and see their answer at the back of the book and learn from them, i am looking forward getting 120/120 in unit 2, because i am saving marks for units 3 and 6, as i am not that good in practicals and investigations =)))))

In my country the highest mark has been ever scored by candidates is 105, so when i got 118 this is a breakthrough !!got me?

Oh right, I thought you were doing the course in Great Britain. How do you know that's the highest mark in your country?

We saw the marks from the British council in my country. It is the highest! so its good! just waiting for the ranking students.

Am I to understand that according to this (http://www.edexcel.com/iwantto/I%20w...(Home-Int).pdf) grade boundary sheet posted earlier

you can get 56/80 in unit 1 and still come away with an A? That's a 70%. That's not an A in anybody's book.

I mean that's really shocking. What incentive would there be to do your best ??

I'm coming up with so many stupid questions and for that I'm so sorry! (I'm studying with NEC a distance learning company so I'm figuring a lot of stuff as I go)

Was wondering how does the 120 get calculated? If the Unit 1 exam is only 80 marks where does the other 40 marks come from? From Unit 3?

56/80 Raw marks may equal 120/120 UMS marks -- UMS = Uniform mark scale

if everyone does bad, the boundary for A moves down which is why we use UMS

In the SNAB textbook there are many "Activity" boxes, did anybody study those in detail and how important are those in securing a high grade on the exam?

Can I ignore them? I am studying independently so lack access to the online portion of the text.

I got 86/120 - Which is Just a B.
However Biology Issue Report is worth 20% is it still possible to get an A?

In my other jan exam I got,
AQA Chem - A
AQA Psyc - A

and im hoping I could make than that 3 A'S, yes I know and i've been told before AAB is amazing, just cant blame me for wanting more
