Why does jam go mouldy but honey doesnt?! HELP PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

I have to plan an experiment for my bio coursework before college starts again and I have absolutely no idea what to do.

I've been told to do : why does jam go mouldly when honey doesnt?!

Please someone tell me what I could do for an experiment to try and prove this?

Well what makes things go mouldy? How could you devise an experiment to try and get both of these to go mouldy. Then think about why this is the case and see what stops the honey going mouldy

Because honey has such a high concentration of sugar it reduces the amount of water present in it. So I guess this must reduce bacterial growth? That's the only thing I can think of.
Honey is hygroscopic, it absorbs the moisture from the environment.

Look up 'hygroscopic' and the 'conditions needed for mould'.
