Well it says this on the Aston website on the chemical engineering page:

Professional Recognition

Our programmes are fully accredited by the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE). Following time spent in employment after graduation you will be eligible for Corporate Membership of the Institution (your Sandwich Year counts in full towards this), and the status of Chartered Engineer

So I guess that means yes.

What are you thinking of applying for, just chemical engineering or the one with applied chemistry? BEng or MEng?

Oh thank you, just chemical engineering, the MEng one. I think it's better to do a course that is not split up. Because i was thinking about doing chemical engineering with business management but i was told if you choose to do something like that then it devalues the chemical engineering part of the course...cross my fingers i get the grades!
