Any information on Law or Law with Criminology for LANCASTER?
I received a letter on 17/12/10 saying "The Law School have advised the Admissions Office that you be made an offer" - BUT as of yet I've heard nothing on UCAS, and I've applied for 2 LLB courses and it didn't say for which course either, so do I assume it's for both?! Law with Criminology is my favourite

I'm predicted AAA for Law, English Lang/Lit and Psychology, and have applied to:
Lancaster - Law LLB - Letter, but no offer as yet
Lancaster - Law with Criminology LLB - Letter, but no offer as yet
York - Law LLB - Acknowledgement
Derby - Law with Criminology LLB - Offer BBB
Lincoln - Law with Criminology LLB - Offer BBB

i think those letters are when the department want to give you an offer so they tell the admissions dept to give you one. i got an offer after getting one of those letters. and im yet to hear of anyone who didnt. if you got an offer for one of the lancaster courses it would seen weird to not recieve one from the other.

sorry cant help with law, i dont know anyone who is taking law im afraid. i hear its supposed to be good at lancaster though

I have the same situation with you,
I recieved an offer letter on the same date but there is no UCAS terms yet.
Are you going to the open day?

thats 'cos an offer hasnt actually be given to you yet....your department has forwarded your application to the main admissions department, who should in the next few day finalise the offer. Unless something major goes wrong. Good Luck!

Hey, yeah I got both offers just after christmas so happy I'm gonna firm Law with Criminology i'm thinking yeah i'm going to the open day, you should go might like it? where else have you applied?

I am not going becasue it is too far away from my school, it takes about 5 hours to go to the university.
I have applied to UCL, KCL, warwick and exeter.
And I am still waiting for UCL and KCL.
What about you?

Hey, i'm currently in year 12 and really want to go go to Lancaster university to study law and criminology. I'm expected to get A*A A in History, English literature and language and sociology and wonder if those grades would be exceptable for the course as i know lancaster is known for being a great uni for law. Also wondering what college is recommended at lancaster as theres so many!
