We had a pond in our back garden and I used to play with the frogs, tadpoles and newts, ooh and slugs, snails and earthworms. My mother was never a fan.
100 for 5, not sure, need to get 100 for 1 first! Hoping I will get 105 or 110 soon though, then I need to be hammering the volume in the 80s and 90s. I need to work on my front squat as well though, it's hard to find the right balance.(Original post by Smack)

Congrats on the squats! this got me all fired up, I want to try and get 100kg before you

Did you mean to say above that you need to work on your front squat as well, not your back squat? cause when i read that I had to go back to check that the 85x5 wasn't fs, that would have killed me lolLast edited by Becca; 24-05-2012 at 18:39. -

Bit of a meh session oly-wise today. Hips were very stiff and I just couldn't loosen them! Maybe should have stretched them out a bit. Lots of massage tonight.

Good session tonight, bf equaled his snatch PB (80kg) twice so it made a nice atmosphere, plus one of our coaches was there so we got some feedback - haven't trained as a group for about 2 weeks. I didn't come close to failing any reps in a monster C&J session either.

Kept pulling with my arms on a lot of these. Need to work on vertical extension and getting under and down for all reps. Think this will be beneficial if I can nail the tekkers.

Quick question - if 54 is easy how do you hold back and not attempt PR's god dam... I have no restraint when it comes to stuff like that.
I'm around for the olympics for one night, then I have to go back to Cumbria to spend time with my family
I will be around in July, but only for 4 nights and have many friends to see. I shall see what our plans end up being.
R.e. PRs - I've learned from experience that it pays to be restrained, especially when I've just had a mega session. If I **** up I get so pissed off and it ruins the good feeling!
