Durham or Warwick for English?

Hi all  having applied, I'm trying to choose between Durham and Warwick for English. Which would you recommend, considering the following:

- Course: in terms of the way it's taught and diversity of options - I have looked these up on the sites, just after further info and opinions really.

- Opportunities: years abroad (how good are Durham's Iceland exchange/Warwick's American exchanges) work experience, range of career options
creative writing (has anyone had experience of the Warwick Writing Programme?)

- Personal Experience?

Thanks for any help!

Durham is more prestigious but Warwick's is more innovative.
If you want creative writing Warwick is the best place arguably in the country to go, really outstanding for CW.
Durham seems more traditional.
Think about the places
Warwick is a huge modern campus
Durham is collegiate
Which would you prefer?

I don't go to either but applied to both

Hi sundogs, thanks for the advice, sorry for the very late reply!
Both sound good, I'll take a look over it and decide. Thanks again!

They are very different universities! Warwick is a modern campus and Durham is a historic collegiate university. Id advise that you visit both to see which type of university you prefer
