Also, what is the danger of using unsecured networks too much? Can people hack you? I don't get it but at the same time, our modem spends about 4h on a day and I am *so bad* at confronting people.

Unsecured networks are prone to hijacking, or others using the bandwidth. Secure it tbh

Our network is secure, but the flatmates keep turning it off at stupid times (for whatever reason) so I use unsecure ones instead.
