Nah, it's the Samsung Nexus.
Looks decent

Re: The Dressing Room XI know - uni is amazing(Original post by Deshi)
Yeah I go back next monday, looking forward to it. Home life is decent (mainly due to having to spend no money
) but it's pretty much impossible to beat uni life, where there is always something to do.
Did you win the race for being president of the society?
I've been so bad with internships, I posted on here a while ago about doing my cv but I haven't even started it yet. What were you applying for at pwc and how far did you get? Pwc are one of the biggest companies so they're always going to be very hard to get into it!
And Southmapton is decent, my house this year was awesome and we now have the house sorted for next year and my rooms the only on with en-suite
And activities wise I haven't really done much this year considering most of my activities (nearly all) are sports related so haven't been able to do much, have been managing my teams second team though which has been fun.
You're in halls right, how is it? Got a house sorted for next year?
Nope didn't win presidency but the vote was basically rigged. It's absolutely cool though, I really got myself on the radar which will help with some of my plans for next year
I applied for partner shadowing which is paid work experience for a week. I got to the last round, the AC stage, which I got rejected after
There was a very annoying guy in our group through.
We're not getting a house for next year, just staying in halls but in a different part and we will all be together which should be awesome. We wanted to stay because there's a free bus, ensuite, and wifi
But we're all doing four year courses so we're going to get a house in 4th year which should be great. Some people have had some complete dramas with finding a house though.

Re: The Dressing Room XYup, that's the one. Definitely an upgrade on my Samsung Galaxy Fit.(Original post by Deshi)

Re: The Dressing Room XAh that's unlucky, you got really far then, I'm guessing you'll reapply next year? With the experience of doing the cycle before you could probably get in next year(Original post by natty_d)

You allowed to stay in halls? You have to ask for like special permission to stay on in halls for the second year here, it's cool that you all managed to stay together though

Re: The Dressing Room XYeah - hopefully. Which reminds me they didn't give me any feedback as I missed the call. I should probably try and get the feedback(Original post by Deshi)

Yeah we're allowed to stay. I'm just glad we're all together and I'm not with crazy internationals anymore. -
Re: The Dressing Room XI had 3 internationals in my flat last year, they were all pretty cool, but one had his mom come stay with him for a few months(Original post by natty_d)

Mine are messy and antisocial.
The night when I threw the first of my legendary chicken and beer parties, they were so not amused
Actually tell a lie - they just stick to their own kind, so I walk into my kitchen all the time and it's like a scene from Too Fast, Too Furious and they stop speaking their language and go silent when I come in. So awkward. Glad to be rid of them next year.Last edited by natty_d; 09-04-2012 at 18:00. -

We're both S2 users
It fits in my pocket, so it's not that bad...(Original post by Deshi)

Re: The Dressing Room XI sat next to a man on a train last week with a Samsung that was about 50% bigger than my own glourious beast(Original post by Deshi)
I think it's the biggest phone I've ever seen, might as well carry a brick around

Also I carry 2 smartphones with me at all times and have no issue
I don't really use my S2 properly and have no apps apart from the obvious ones so I am tempted to start playing games and stuff. FM will no doubt be terrible but I might give it a go.(Original post by Karma Charger)

Mine were anti-social but they weren't that bad to live with. In freshers week we managed to get one of them to come out, but thinking it was common sense, we forgot to tell him to bring ID, so when we got to the door of the club and realised, we had to send him home in a taxi (to make things worse we got lost on the way too the club so we were walking for an hour
), he never came out with us again

Re: The Dressing Room X
The international students I had were terrible. First of all, they were cousins, so in their minds, they didn't really need to know me or anything. They arrived after Freshers Week, so I had no flatmates to go out with. Luckily, I'm a social badass and knew how to cope. However, they had clearly been there before as their rooms were unlocked and stuff was in there. I checked. When they did eventually arrive, I introduced myself and they reluctantly introduced themselves, with only one of the two doing all the talking. I offered them a drink and they said that they didn't drink alcohol. Obviously, that's fine, I offered Irn Bru or something, but they said they weren't thirsty. Later on, they accused me of stealing despite nothing being missing and them leaving their doors unlocked.
There's more, but that's the first day. -
Re: The Dressing Room XOne of mine has the LOUDEST skype calls at 3am in the morning. It's so annoying. Besides that one of them had a maid at home so refuses to clean anything. WTF(Original post by Deshi)

My first night was quite similar to this.

Re: The Dressing Room XLOL I had this problem as well, can't believe I forgot about it. His room was right next to mine as well(Original post by natty_d)

I eventually got a French flatmate who ****ed anything under the sun. He was always louder than the women though.
