Jesus man. That volume is fantastic. Just checked and I think my worst is probably 15,000kg (although that was 10k FTOH..). Clearly I need to try a monster session or two!

10k FTOH? I thought it was 1k??

May integrate front squats into my next training cycle. Was tantilisingly close to 3plate last time I maxed at it

Posted from TSR Mobile

Definitely do. I need to keep doing them. It's so easy to pussy out. Call me out if you don't see them this week...

That was the normal one. 10k was just once, and enormously brutal.

Nah I think even in the world of anomalies, that's an anomaly. Top russian 69-75's barely do that and obviously they're not f-ing around when it comes to training.

I think 190-200 FS is where most of the top W75kg lifters are - Evstyukhina (Bronze in Beijing, 3x gold at worlds, 2x gold at Euros, held the CJ WR for like 3 years) did 180+a jerk, I can't find anything else other than 170x4 back squat, but I'd guess her max FS would be in that region. For context against a similarly weighted man, Long Qingquan has done 180kgx2, Ivan Ivanov did 210 (both M56 lifters).

So you're saying this one 58kg lifter is stronger massively than the others and the 63/69kg lifters?

I assumed if 58kg female can do 190 there must be stronger girls in heavier weight classes..

Otherwise what's the point in milestones?

Posted from TSR Mobile

Sometimes milestones are great. I'm still happy with 140kg bench.

But some milestones immediately feel terrible when you hit them and you're suddenly embarrassed that you thought this milestone was going to be good...

Ahh, that sounds terrible.

If I really wanted to do volume I'd smash many back off sets of 5 then more light sets of like 10.

Sometimes over a workout some of the volume is cheap. E. G shrugs. Want to get my main movement volumes up.

There are a few 75s with back squats in the range of 190-200 for 2 from what I can find on ATG/youtube - actually found a video of Evstyukhina doing 200x2 (I didn't dig very hard last night), Oxana Slivenko (69) also has a video of 200kgx2. In terms of 58s/63s, Deng Wei (63) has FS 150kg for a double, Deng Mengrong(58) did 140x2 FS in Almaty. Zoe Smith only has a 1RM back squat in the 160-170 range.

Azerbaijan hasn't had any out of competition tests. Got a team ban in 2013 which she avoided due to inactivity. She got 5th in London with a 233 total, went inactive, was untested for 3 years and returned with a monster FS, a 200+ (set in 2013) back squat, and wins Europeans and Worlds - with a WR.

It isn't until you go into the 75+ that you start to get really big numbers - Kashirina did 200kgx6 when she was in the US last year, Meng Suping 200x2 FS, Sarah Robles 200kg FS.

But basically, her squats are pretty much average for the good 75s.
^Pretty much lol. I mean you may well be right and there are some other sub 60kg girls FS 200 that exist, but on film and paper that's ****ing ridiculous performance.

FitNotes Workout - Monday 7th December 2015

** Sumo Deadlift **
- 60.0 kgs x 5 reps
- 60.0 kgs x 3 reps [Fingertips grip. Epic rom gains]
- 80.0 kgs x 3 reps
- 100.0 kgs x 3 reps
- 120.0 kgs x 3 reps
- 140.0 kgs x 2 reps
- 160.0 kgs x 1 rep
- 170.0 kgs x 0 rep

Lol, the light weights feel ridiculously easy with fingertip grip as the rom is much less. Then gets tough.

** Deadlift **
- 60.0 kgs x 5 reps [Beltless, ass back and down more, 2 lace holes showing.]
- 100.0 kgs x 5 reps
- 100.0 kgs x 3 reps
- 100.0 kgs x 2 reps
- 120.0 kgs x 1 rep
- 120.0 kgs x 3 reps
- 140.0 kgs x 3 reps
- 160.0 kgs x 3 reps
- 177.5 kgs x 3 reps
- 100.0 kgs x 3 reps
- 100.0 kgs x 1 rep

Actually the heaviest I've conventional deadlifted in ages. Pre injury in 2014 I did 205*3 I think but since that injury I think the best I got just before my comp in may was 175*3. May go back and check.

** Off The Floorsies **
- 100.0 kgs x 3 reps
- 100.0 kgs x 3 reps
- 100.0 kgs x 3 reps
- 100.0 kgs x 3 reps
- 100.0 kgs x 3 reps
- 100.0 kgs x 3 reps

Deadlift movement just to the knees. Focusing on not screwing up back angle.

- 80.0 kgs x 21 reps
- 80.0 kgs x 20 reps
- 80.0 kgs x 20 reps

** Pull Up **

Had to beat Matt's set of 7. Mine were more strict as well.
