I think it's a shame that some are already thinking about jumping ship to the private sector before they are even on the programme. Can't see myself advising some greedy filthy rich person to avoid tax myself.
The person who posted that hasn't even applied to the programme - if you read back they posted about a friend's experience on the assessment day and then replied to someone who said it was a crappy job that they'd never consider.

Not a peep. Guess the centre leader at my assessment centre was misinformed.

I didn't go for it but my housemate did - he says at his assessment centre in Nottingham the group was told that decisions were due out by 28 April and a week before then they would be e-mailed to say exactly what date and time the decision e-mails would go out so people would know exactly when they'd get the results. He may have got it wrong but that's what he says his group were told.

Guess there were some mixed messages going out. Oh well - to be honest an e-mail telling me a date and time is not going to make me any less tense about waiting for the actual results.

Apparently they did that last time - they sent an email to say what day and time the email would go out that saying whether or not you'd been invited to the assessment centre.

They've got form with these things

And me! I was offered a different job yesterday which would be a lot easier to make a decision on if I knew what HMRC were going to say.

Thanks. Not a grad scheme. It is a training role which uses my experience to date. I have decided to take it so I'm out of the running for the HMRC role now.

Just to let everyone know - I emailed the Graduate Team to try to find out exactly when the results will be out. Apparently it will be on the 28th. I've gone back to them to ask what time we can expect them as I'm off on holiday in the afternoon! I'll post when I get a reply.

I've just phoned to try to find out a time. Apparently they will get the results out as soon as possible on Thursday, but it will definitely be on Thursday, no later, which is something. In fact, she said it may possibly even be beforehand (although I think this is unlikley)

    Congrats

I wasn't, but wasn't too surprised as I didn't think I'd done that well on the day. Not too disappointed because I think it was worthwhile just getting the experience of going to an assessment centre, will defintiely feel more confident if (when?) I get through to any other ones.

    Anyone else heard?
