Is anybody wathcing this programme. I love it!!

Whoever thought of the concept for this programme is a genius!!
<3 it. Thinking of organising a lads' holiday this summer. I'm turning 18 next month, all my other friends already are, apart from my best mate who is not 18 til October (got moved up a year). I've checked online, and whilst the drinking age is 18 in Spain, it is 17 in Cyprus and 16 in Greece. Anyone know if we're likely to face any problems? Do clubs out there in Cyprus/Greece still insist on you being 18? Do they accept driving licenses as I.D. or just passports, as my mate could easily get a fake driving licence, and I doubt they have I.D. scanners? Would it still be possible to do it through club 18-30? Not sure any of us would want a holiday where it's all structured and you have certain nights where you can go out, certain nights when you have to stay in or whatever etc, so what other good companies are there that do flights&hotel cheap?

When I me and my friends all went to Zante all of us bar one were 17 and they didn't care, at all. No-one ID's anywhere. You could probably be like 13 and still get in everywhere! Me and my friends just booked it all separate. We went to a travel agent who helped book us flights and hotel. We had a travel rep there but never even met him so it's not a big deal at all. I reccomend booking it through a travel agent as they were really helpful. But seriously, ID isn't an issue- at all.

I've only seen the Ibiza and Kavos ones. the Ibiza one I watched for nostalgic reasons, seeing that strip club the guys went into brought back some shameful but heart-warming memories.

saw the Kavos one at 1am last night cos there was nothing else on. that dad was ridiculous, although his daughter was pretty fit so I could see his dilemma as a father

Saw the Kavos one last night, was brilliant seeing it cos I went on holiday there last summer. Right at the end, saw the parents and kids dancing together on a podium where one of my mates got with a fatty. Lovely memories.

I've been watching it. I know someone who was on one of them.

Only thing is, I think it could be a BIT better.. no one's done anything that bad. If people were going back with randomers etc it'd be better! Not that I agree with that at all but it'd be good telly :P Also, none of them have reacted badly to their parents being there.. I would've expected most of them to!

What do they actually think they are being filmed for? Surely they'd know? Also, the one last night was pretty tame. Though one of the girl dads was a bit ott, i mean for fancy dress, her outfit wasn't really that bad compared to what it could have been. Lol at being caught smoking though...

What a show, the end of the Ibiza one in the strip club was one of the funniest things i've ever seen, I was cracking up for ages. This weeks was boring, that Dad was a right killjoy

Wow, the dad in kavos was ridiculous. Most over the top reaction to a total non event I've seen.

The Kavos one was a bit boring because of there only being one group really, the dad was ridiculous going on about her outfit like she went out in a thong and nipple tassles or something. It was Chelsea that needed to put it away tbh, ewwy...

i love the show, but the Kavos one was a bit boring as it was one group of friends and not two. The dad was over protective im surprised she still lives at home to be honest if she can't wear what she wants when she goes out with her friends, she's 18, not 12. I can't wait until tonights episode, see where they go this time and hopefully it will be two different friendship groups.

Kavos oveprotective dad was WEIRD. She's going to have so much fun when she goes to uni... As long as he doesn't hire a private investigator to follow her every move.

What happens was that the bbc had an advert (they said that the show was called something else) and said that they were basically doing a documentary on people who had never been on holiday on with their friends before and wanted to see what it is like for people on their first holiday with friends. They pay for some of your outings and stuff (hence why so many people signed up). I'm not on the show by the way I'm not nearly as wild as some of those on TV. lol If I had I'd have probably been well behaved since I knew I was on TV. Yeah the girls dad was OTT but my dad would have gone mad if I'd worn that too. I think that the show is good though. I wonder how they'll get people to do a second series though, if they have one that is.

Am I the only one who didn't think the Kavos dad was that bad? He only wanted to make sure his daughter was going to be ok and wasn't even that bothered when they met up at the end.

Think I said it earlier in thread but its generation gap, I can see why he would be annoyed and why the girl in return is too but many people are just sheep and I say that in the nicest way!

I.e its the "everyone else does it, so if someone has a problem with it they are the ones at fault not me"

I think the girl was dressed provocativly in some scenes though "normal" for a girl her age so I guess I have some faults too in thinking that.

But in these sorts of things it a bit of a no win situation since kids will love it if their parents let them do anything but others will say they are letting their children run wild.

I would be absolutely FUMING if I where one of those kids!

Going on holiday is about your space and time away, not having your parents watch every move. It's kinda creepy. =/
