Pretend it's a normal question, so get x=y+kx = y + k and sub it into the circle equation (which I assume is meant to be x2+y2=18x^2 + y^2 = 18). Once you get a quadratic equation in the form ax2+bx+cax^2 + bx + c (and remember c can be k and a number), stop. You then need to use b24acb^2 - 4ac. Tell me if you need more help.
