If a student is set on doing Law at a Scottish university then perhaps a Scottish summer school would be more appropriate?

We would hope that those who apply to UNIQ are genuinely interested in applying to Oxford University and looking to know more, especially as spaces are extremely hard to come by.

I would apply to a Scottish summer school but St Andrews is the only Scottish university to offer it, and they don't do Law.

I was on the reserve list for maths and got offered a place around a week ago. What subject did you apply for?

I applied for chemistry, was really hoping to get it because just noticed my personal statement is going to look really blank

You still might stand a chance with it as chem is one of the courses with more places and it's not 'til the beginning of august Just out of interest, how long was your uniq personal statement thingy? 'Cos mine was only 1200 characters and I couldn't think of anything else to put in it :/ Dunno how i'm going to do a 4000 character one for ucas... oops ;D

I honestly can not remember but it can't have been very long I would say probably around 1200 too. I suggest starting the personal statement early then if it's looking bare you know to get involved in more to beef it up
