That does sound a bit steep love! I know it varies between doctors, but most people I know paid £25 and the most I've heard someone pay is £35....
We are in Scotland though!
Maybe worth ringing Natalie and checking that out?
Apparently, it's not uncommon for GP's to charge this much
Am wondering if I'm following the wrong career path?! I'm just unlucky in that mine charges more than most perhaps?
Ah well!

Eek that's a lot! Mine cost £22, but then I'm also paying for police clearances from 2 countries, so with trips to embassies and charges for the certicates it ain't cheap either - I'd better get used to being skint!
Oh nooooo!
I've still go to sort this out... need to contact the Italian embassy or similar - and by the sounds of it, I'm going to have to go in in person too?!! How much was it, if you don't mind my asking?

Re: Primary PGCE Interview - Manchester Uni
One stated it was £30 on their website, but then said it was free when I went, so that was a nice surprise. The other charged £13 for a signature and stamp on the day, £12 for the actual form which I have to post as a cheque, and then i had to post it all to the main office abroad which was £6 recorded delivery. As I live up north though the main faff was getting to London to the embassies. Luckily I have friends down there though so it was just a case of a train ticket rather than accomm too.

The finger-printing is a bit of a pain but I just printed out the form on card and then used a regular inkpad. They'll take up to 8 weeks to send the CRB back to you and then you just send it to the university.
Hope this helps!! -

I'd actually got as far as printing the finger print form, but was wondering how to get my fingerprints done. Did you do your own?! Did you have to send postage as well as the $18 because they have to mail it to the UK?
