Anyone know a fast way to do the Master Criminal Trophy? Its one of my last two and I can't fast travel. Its a painful trophy to get.
Basically, it was easy for me. I just went into a city, killed a random guard and then ran away and just kept running until the red dots of the guards chasing me went away, and then it would let me fast travel so I just fast travelled to the next hold.

Guys, have Bethesda announced what the downloadable content/expansions will be?

I was expecting it to come out January.

Also, have they fixed the PS3 lag issues?

January? This isn't some Call of Duty franchise where all they do is bring up some old maps and spruce up the scenery a bit. I hope any Skyrim DLC will be long-awaited and well worth the MSP price tag. Besides they are too busy fixing all the bugs and glitches to have DLC ready by now. :P

The horse armour was one of the first forays into DLC. It's moved on so much in the last six years. Expect Fallout 3 style DLC. The new announcement for the purchase of 'Dawnguard' suggests something to do with Dawnstar, perhaps an island to the north.

I'm aware of this i was just raising issue with the way he said it

If we were to simply base this off the franchises track record with DLC we can expect a load of crap followed by a decent expansion, but to actually do so would be absurd.

I thought it was quite obvious I was talking about major gameplay DLC rather than little extras like horse armour or Fable 3's dog suit. So I don't see what's wrong with the way I said it.

Didn't Bethesda say that they were planning to keep the Skyrim DLC few and far between, going for quality over quantity? Personally I took this as an indicator they wouldn't be making horse armour and such, and that they would focus on the big story-based things like they did for The Shivering Isles.

On a related note, I hope they let us revisit the Isles in Skyrim. That was, and still is, my favourite thing about Oblivion.

I'm looking forward to Morrowind being ported over to the Skyrim engine, much like it was ported over to the Oblivion engine. Apparently the guys who did the last conversion say it's only a matter of time now that they've found out how to.

Spears, werebears, seasonal foliage and weather, improved environment effects and physics, vampire bites in combat, and on and on. Looks fudgin' awesome!

Nearly got all the achievements. Just gotta restore the thieves guild, get 1000 bounty in each hold and read 50 skill books. I'm not looking forward to the latter at all. Any suggestions?

Beyond getting yourself a list and working through it, there's not much more to suggest. How many are you short?

IIRC, "general stats" keeps track of the total number read.

If all that's legit then it's looking pretty good for me. How long until they announce what actually will be in it along with a release date?

    That's amazing.

Is that giant mudcrab part of the DLC or is that in game currently?

    :lolwut:

Just checked out that video... Wow!

I can't see all of those extra effects hitting the 360 though.

Edit: I appear to be quite racist on Skyrim. Every time I see a Khajit, I just want to kill it. I can't stand those ****ing cat people! Anyone else got an irrational hatred of a Skyrim race?

*spits* Racists like you and the Stormcloaks make me sick

    :p:

I don't really 'hate' any races. The closest would be for the Altmer, just because so many of them are really arrogant and so on, but it's not like I get the urge to kill them every time I see them...just when they open their mouths to spew crap about how totally awesome they are and how all other races are beneath them (something that the Thalmor do at every opportunity). Aside from that, the closest would be my general wariness of the Argonians just because so many of them are thieves, smugglers etc. - aside from the pair that run the Bee & Barb in Riften, I'm honestly struggling to think of any Argonians in all of Skyrim who aren't criminals; it was the same in Oblivion - with few exceptions (like the ones in the mages guild) they were all criminals, or they were skooma addicts, or they were living in poverty in Bravil...or all of the above.

With the release of the new patch a while back, I've started a new character (a female Breton, the first character I've created in Skyrim that isn't a female Dunmer) and am probably going to join the Dark Brotherhood fairly soon (I've so far never joined the Dark Brotherhood in Skyrim), so that'll be fun for me :cute:

I'm with the Imperials... mainly because the Stormcloaks are racist child killers... Hmmmm....

This is the first Elder Scrolls I've played. I usually stay away from RPGs due to time...but I was off ill from work for 5 weeks recently and so I played this one...

The Dark Brotherhood missions are fun. I accidentally killed their horse though. It was an awesome horse too. Unfortunately, like every other horse in Skyrim, it ain't too good at falling off the edge of a mountain...

I'm going to start again soon. My massive, bulky, 2 handed axe wielding Nord is now too powerful for most enemies. Even Ancient Dragons aren't too much of an issue. Think I'll go with some wimpy mage type with some boss spells. Preferably ones with lots of fire. Yes. Definitely fire. :yep:
