Re: how to stay awake all night?
Doing the same thing tonight. Tbh I don't find it difficult once I get into revision, I actually loose track of time occasionally and before you know it, it's 4am. A good nights sleep is definitely healthier, especially if you can't get into your studies and end up struggling to make sense of things. Though if you're motivated, spread yourself out (I tend to have 4 books and my notes spread out on my bed) and get on it.
If you plan on doing all night revision again, practise makes perfect, this week I've been sleeping every other night, to get things done, so hang in there! If you're struggling to stay awake, browse TSR for 10mins
Good luck -

Oh my.
And it has to be one of the most ridiculous and arrogant habits on TSR, although few people agree...
What if people want advice on certain subjects?

Posting what grades you got is completely unnecessary, arrogant and irritating. -

Re: how to stay awake all night?
Urgh, I find it easy. Especially when I don't want to

If you're not in my unfortunate situation, go down to your local shop and get loads of unhealthy food, caffeinated drinks etc. Snack regularly but don't eat lots at once or it'll make you drowsy. Drink your red bull or whatever, but try to intersperse it with regular drinks of water to keep at least slightly hydrated.
Focus on what you need to do, but don't be afraid to take a small break if you're starting to tire, perhaps go outside, run round the block or something...
But really, don't bother. It just makes you feel like crap the next day, you can't pay attention, you're tired, it's a waste of a day. I pulled an unintentional all nighter on Thursday night and spent the whole day like a zombie. I even almost fell asleep standing up. When I got back to my flat at 5pm, I fell asleep and slept til 11pm - cue another night of bad sleep. It's not good. -

Re: how to stay awake all night?Clearly they do. Why? They haven't been to uni yet, during exam period, while in the library, when its open 24/7 and when you have your next exam in 28 hours.(Original post by IlexBlue)
Do some people actually find this challenging?
****ing amateurs... -
Re: how to stay awake all night?Exactly. I plan on pulling an all-nighter too but my plans involve watching episodes of Road Wars on Sky 2 at 3am, not revision.(Original post by SAK.A)
