Re: Official LNAT Scores 201142.(Original post by JH-QC)
Can't be bothered to trawl through the remaining 50 pages before I reach the end of this thread, but can someone please clarify whether the scores out of 30 are actually out of 42, or whether they've scaled them down to what the mark would be out of 30 so they can compare with previous years?
I only got one e-mail saying 20/30, no 2nd email with whatever they have said about mistakes etc... SO CONFUSED!! -
Re: Official LNAT Scores 2011Ahh that happened to me! My referee sent completely the wrong grades! But they emailed them and quickly sorted it. Did your referee quickly inform the uni's? Though ABCCCbd is quite impressive really(Original post by Sarmatian)
I am actually quite annoyed by my rejection from KCL. I blame it entirely on my school, my referee sent off the wrong predicted grades, so instead of sending off what I would get if I sat the exams in July, I got predictions based on what I would get if I took the exams now... At the time, this gave me predictions of ABCCCbd which is obviously not good enough for any top university... and foolishly I didn't find out until after the application was sent off
Hopefully my LNAT will be my saving grace... Doubtful, but possible. Either way, my school is in for a world of pain.

Re: Official LNAT Scores 2011Aww, thanks.(Original post by teaandcoffee)
Aww I am happy for you.
I think you'll have a great time in either place

Even though you didn't get an offer from Birmingham, I know that you'll enjoy yourself at Reading!
Hey, just remember that Nottingham is a very competitive Law school and it's amazing to even get an offer. -
Re: Official LNAT Scores 2011Pssh, Birmingham are missing out on a pretty good future law student I reckon(Original post by Doughnuts!!)

Re: Official LNAT Scores 2011
Well i would just like to say this.
'01 February 2011: Pearson VUE regrets any inconvenience or problems caused to candidates of the LNAT test. There was a short delay in the release of scores this week. All actual scores recorded by candidates were conveyed accurately, but a minority of candidates received inaccurate information as to the maximum possible score. This matter was quickly rectified and all candidates are receiving the correct information'
'Short delay': I refer to a short delay as Nando's taking too long to serve me my Lemon & Herb Double Pitta. Not a whole day. And then some.
'A minority of candidates': Would that be... All candidates... then? Pshh.
'Quickly rectified': Some people are still wallowing in the abyss of confusion, as they have not received a second email and are only aware of what is happening thanks to TSR.
'All candidates are receiving the correct information': Well I must of had a nice dream about taking a fictional LNAT then. YOU FORGOT ME.
Essay over. -

But mmm yeah, I haven't had my second email yet. Only realised this mess up after reading about it on TSR and because my friend (surname starting with C) got both emails.
