    Opal Accommodation, Hudd? :)
    Hi there, my questions are;

What is the difference between the standard ensuite, deluxe and super deluxe? And are they worth the price difference.

I can't find the difference on the website, so I've resorted to asking on here!

I think I'll be opting for the 43 week tenancy but I'm not entirely sure. But I think I would rather have the super deluxe for 43 weeks, rather than the standard ensuite for 51 weeks; as it still works out cheaper!
I put the prices and room types below so it might give you a better idea.

    (51 Weeks)
    Room Type - Standard Ensuite
    By Instalments - £93.00 / wk
    Total - £4743.00

    Room Type - Deluxe Ensuite
    By Instalments - £101.00 / wk
    Total - £5151.00

Room Type - Super Deluxe Ensuite
    By Instalments - £103.00 / wk
    Total - £5253.00

    (43 Weeks)
    Room Type - Standard Ensuite
    By Instalments - £93.00 / wk
    Total - £3999.00

    Room Type - Deluxe Ensuite
    By Instalments - £101.00 / wk
    Total - £4343.00

Room Type - Super Deluxe Ensuite
    By Instalments - £103.00 / wk
    Total - £4429.00

I dont have a clue, im thinking of staying with Opal accommodation too,...
I think the main difference is the size of the rooms, and the amount of floor space, wardrobe space and the size of the bed.
What are you going to be studying?

Biomedical science or MH Nursing. You?
I've read somewhere that deluxe gives you a 3/4 sized bed and a bit more floor space, but I dunno which to go for. I'd like a larger room, but obviously I want it to be worth the extra X I'm paying for it. ^^

The prices are to do with what resources you have with in your room, like a toilet, kitchen and sometimes even furniture. The size of the room also makes a difference to the price.

    Ohh, Adult Nursing
Its all going to be good!
I think im going for a single room, i think i could use the 7 or so extra pounds the deluxe room costs.

I could probably too, but hopefully bank of mother will help me out with a tiny bit of money on a weekly/monthly basis too. <3

You going to be living in Aspley then? Eeeek, let me know all your interviewy stuff! I haven't heard back from hudd about my nursing yet, just my biomed. I want a 'double' because I'm a bit of a shutin, I can't handle the tiny box rooms, it's gotta feel more "homely" to me

&I don't go drinking, so I guess I can pay for my room with what people would spend on that? Haha. Is your's a diploma with option for degree btw? So many questions for people who're doing nursing! >: )

Oh my word, now they've added an extra 'setting'

    (51 Weeks)
Room Type - Standard Plus Ensuite
    By Instalments - £97.00 / wk
    Total - £4947.00

    (43 Weeks)
Room Type - Standard Plus Ensuite
    By Instalments - £97.00 / wk
    Total - £4171.00

Why! Why! and nothing has been updated on the FAQ's regarding this room type. > : (

hi i am a first year looking at moving into accomodation next year. just thought i would let you know i went to see Aspley hall today and they only have the single and double rooms avalible at this opal.
The difference being the size of the rooms, as both types of room where in the same flat and as such communal areas are the same size for both room type.
however communal areas do change size according to how many rooms are in each flat.
    Hope this helps
