Re: Tottenham Hotspur Society IITitle talk is way too premature. We're still a long long way away. It really will take time again for AVB to take his full on effect with everyone. He's also willing to give Bentley a chance.(Original post by Darth Vader 7)
You guys have announced the signing of Vertonghen (subject to a medical). Great coup imo. Him and Siggurdson should go a long way in maintaining your top 4 status. If you replace Modric adequately (Moutinho etc.), you might have a chance at the title (still need to increase squad depth). -
Re: Tottenham Hotspur Society IIYes. He was on loan at, I think, West Ham last season.(Original post by Zerforax)
Is Bentley still at the club? -
Re: Tottenham Hotspur Society IIWonder how much longer he has on his contract.. Seems he spent Jan 2011 - summer 2011 at Birmingham on loan and then was meant to be at West Ham for last season on loan but he returned as he had a serious injury.(Original post by Good bloke)
Yes. He was on loan at, I think, West Ham last season. -
Re: Tottenham Hotspur Society IIBirmingham sent him back, he was unsettling the squad.(Original post by Zerforax)

LONG way to go this summer I think, plenty of work to be done for us. When are they going to unveil AVB to the media!? -
Re: Tottenham Hotspur Society IIYeah I want to hear him talk to the media though.(Original post by rockrunride)
Kit's been leaked on Twitter. Pictures of AVB training with the squad (including Gylfi) on the official website.
8 days to go until the Stevenage friendly! Tickets for Watford go on sale tomorrow (£15).
I see Tom Huddlestone is back in training, will be interesting to see if there is a role for him to play under AVB. -

Probably my 'favorite' Tottenham player for all the comedy he provides.

Re: Tottenham Hotspur Society II
He was a more defensive midfielder than Parker.(Original post by rockrunride)
Think he was pretty much the German equivalent of Scott Parker. -
Re: Tottenham Hotspur Society IIPossibly explains why I thought he was a CB.(Original post by Good bloke)
He was a more defensive midfielder than Parker.
Either that or my memory is shot. -
Re: Tottenham Hotspur Society IIWell, he did leave Spurs about ten years ago.(Original post by Kevmeister)
