MEDSIM... shall I do the MMMC too?

Okay, so I've decided to do Vetsim in the summer - it looks like it'll be fun, and it may be pricey, but I'd like to have the opportunity to experience Uni life with like-minded people.

I also thought the Marine Mammal Medic Certificate seemed like a fun thing to do, but I've heard that it has been a bit rubbish in the past, with students having to do it on the grass... Shall I bother with it (for an extra £162!!!)? I'd like to do the real thing, but I live in the midlands...

Does the MMMC benefit your application to Uni/work exp/whatever, because it's a nationally recognised cert?

It won't help your application in the slightest, because it would be unfair on other applicants who can't afford it. Plus the whole thing is pretty useless, but fun if you have the money.
