Been watching few things with Tom Hardy in it, in prep for him playing Bane, judging on what i've seen whim in so far i am really looking forward to his role! -

Been watching few things with Tom Hardy in it, in prep for him playing Bane, judging on what i've seen whim in so far i am really looking forward to his role!
I've only seen him in a leading role in Bronson, but he was ridiculously good in a somewhat Banesque role (Banesque insofar as Bronson is a psycho muscleman irretrievably bent on destruction, anyway, not the attention-seeking delusion aspect of Bronson). Really, really looking forward to this, and also sad that Nolan's time with Batman is coming to an end, even if it's ultimately a good thing. -

I thought the same thing when I heard that Heath Ledger was going to play the villain.
I mean really? HEATH LEDGER? Whose most memorable role was in a flick about gay cowboys
Then in January of 2008 (just a couple weeks before his death I think) i saw the trailer
Burned into my mind was the Joker sitting on the floor, licking his lips and speaking in his strange drawl.
The rest is history -

Re: The Dark Knight Rises Official Movie (Trailer + Info)The trailer was AWESOME! It set the "tone" perfectly, promoted Bane as a GREAT villain, and showed that the Batman will have many obstacles to overcome to rid Gotham of this new threat

Tom Hardy will Rock. Not only was he sadistic in Brandon, but he played a very intimidating fighter in Warriors.

The internet is alive with chatter that this has references to the recent occupy wall street movement and economic crisis of 2008. I wonder if Nolan will make Catwoman a Robin Hood figure and not just a pity burglar with a personal grudge against the social elite...

But seriously think about it. Bane obviously decides to kill the [rich] athletes and not 'the people' in the stadium. Plus there is a clip where a man in a fancy apartment, which is being stormed, is being manhandled.
