Been banned by the FA for one game for claiming i should have gotten a penalty

Didnt matter went on to win 4-0
This has happened so many times to me I don't even worry about it any more. Referees fail me far too often...

The SPL is terrible about this, in the sense that no matter how many times I behave like a little bitch in the press, they never ban me for anything, just because every single journalist is "in awe" or whatever and I'm the second most successful Scottish manager ever in the history of Scottish managers, Alex Ferguson still being first. It's like I'm Rangers and the press is my pool of double contracts.

Started the season in the prem now with hull who I guided first place in the championship, the squad is the youngest in the league at the age of 22.74 and I have a 17 year old, 2 18 year olds and a 16 year old playing as starters :dice: Lost 5-0 to chelsea, beat man united 3-1 then lose 6-0 to liverpool, good news is that my run is now easy and tottenham, arsenal and man city are far away from each other so the hard teams are far away from each other, you have the other toughies like everton and newcastle in an easy run too so I'm expecting to be in the top half.

UPDATE: I'm 5th in december, leigh griffiths is also the second top goalscorer in the league with 14 goals just behind aguero. I just need the team to mature and I'll win the league in a couple of years without having to buy anybody(bar centre backs)

My former wigan team are in the championship, with players such as soritis ninis, matt phillips, tiago ilori, christopher drazan and other top class players, I might just buy tiago ilori next season as I'm sort of short at centre back, cathcart is too slow and so is jack hobbs while maguire wants to leave.

Piss poor third season in my Utd save - finished 8 points behind City, lost to them in the CL semi and lost the FA Cup final to Arsenal.

Did win the league cup, though. :yeah:

I've sold Bender for £10m, as he only played 15 games. I think Mikel and M'Vila can cover the DM/BWM positions, and Pogba is coming back. Think I'll sign Felipe Anderson and that'll be all. Going to try shift some fringe players, like Lee Chung-Yong and possibly Park, and Handanovic if an acceptable bid comes in.

I didn't manage to get into the Champions League group stage with Keflavik but I gave Partizan Belgrade a run for their money as in the 1st leg I won 3-1 at home but in the return leg I got dominated and crushed 5-0. So, with that being the play-off round I dropped into the europa league group stage and have been drawn against Fenerbache, Stuttgart and Austria Wien. I have gained ~£2m for my adventures so far in Europe which now means I can become the first professional Icelandic football club! I also have gained Hermann Hreidarsson as a coach and hope to get Heidar Helguson in too!
So after I most likely finish bottom of my Europa league group with 0 points my team will be professional footballers with great new coaches ahead of my 3rd season!

I think I'm going to attempt the Pentagon Challenge. I'm bored of my Wolves save, there is no way of winning the league (Arsenal are back to back champions).

    http://www.footballmanagerstory.com/...e-best-regens/

If you scroll down a bit this has some of the good clubs to scout and tells you when the regens appear so you can get in there first. I've found a better list before, I'll have a look tomorrow when I'm on my laptop if I remember.

Sao Paulo, Gremio - scout the U-21 leagues, by far the easiest way to find decent regens.

In my Utd save I sold Bender, Handanovic, Valencia, Park, Chung-Yong, and a few others for £30m odd. Brought in Kovacic and Felipe Anderson, and a Spanish regen for about the same money I brought in. Board unhappy with sale of Yong. Idiots. Xabi Alonso was released by Madrid, but he wanted £220k/wk to join so I told him to do one.

Decided to try to break the Indian market, so have three friendlies there - one against a team with 120000 seater stadium.

Aw, my favourite striker used to be an Aberdeen legend, now he's not listed in the "Legends" on the club info sheet and it doesn't say so in his biography any more either. How do you stop being a legend? It's not like the fact that he single-handedly bitch-slapped the SPL and the Old Firm into a 40 point clearance for us when he started playing has somehow become untrue, the club owes him pretty much everything. Is it because he's now only the third technically best striker (behind an insane Croat and an insane German) in the squad?

Do tours/friendlies even have an impact? I read somewhere that someone thought it made no/negligble difference.

YES LIVERPOOL, FEEL FREE TO WAIT UNTIL THE LAST DAY OF THE TRANSFER WINDOW TO FINALLY MAKE A BID FOR MY NUMBER 1 KEEPER WHICH EQUALS HIS RELEASE CLAUSE GIVING ME NO TIME TO FIND A REPLACEMENT. *******.

My youngsters are starting to reach their potential.

Think it's time to start selling some more oldies on high wages.

Replace Thiago Silva on 140k with a 21 year old regen on 5k a week? Yes please

Whats the most you guys ever give a player per week?

I normally limit my self to giving a player a maximum of £100k p/w. But just now ive given a GK £150k p/w due to there only being two world class GK's around atm. The other one plays for Barca and is not interested in joining at all.

70-80k pw. The players at the club over that I start at i sell over the first couple of seasons unless they are brilliant players. I'm in the habit of keeping 100% control of wages and trying to make profits

At hull it's 30k atm but I'll let it go to 50k eventually. I have a very young team who are mainly around 5-20k. Highest earner is tom cairney on 27k.

Usually with the goalkeeper I just use the dodgy young keeper for a season or two with an experienced backup both on low wages until the youngun becomes reliable. Although in my barca save I just buy the no.1 for a goodish country like uruguay/sweeden/croatia.

Man city do this too and real madrid are absolute pricks too, that's why I always have young backups with potential.

I just look at brazil's U20 team as the best players are bound to be there, I then get the cheapest one of them all with good potential. I look at the free agents or the players around 200k-1M
