Re: TSR Tennis Societyawww just a shame he has the most grandslams of all time.(Original post by *Hakz*)
This is too funny lol. Only Federer fans will disagree though, even though it's the truth.

Re: TSR Tennis SocietyOi, spoilers. I hadn't watched it yet.(Original post by jhuntley93)
i know just dont want anyone getting over excited just yet, oh and he cant win queens because jamie baker beat him today 76 63 who moves into the top 200 as well as britians number 2. That means the 2 best british singles players are scottish as well as 2 of the best doubles players are scottish (jamie murray + colin fleming).
for anyone intersted jamie baker will now play tsonga in round 2, hoping it will be on the tv

Re: TSR Tennis Societyyes because winning 5 Wimbledon titles in a row is an irrelevant record(Original post by Zhy)
I can't wait for Wimbledon. Another chance to see the greatest rivalry of all time, Djokovic vs Nadal, on grass. I hope the pair reach every GS final for the next 5 years. Then we could have both of them potentially surpassing Fred's GS tally and decimating his silly weak-era records. Not only that, but Djokodal will soon prove that age is no longer a factor as Ralph continues to pile on French Open titles well into his late 30s and possibly his 40s if he has the motivation, whilst Djokovic will always have the AO as his own personal freebie for the next decade. Fred, meanwhile, will still be able to set his own irrelevant records by playing all the mickey-mouse tournaments like Estoril, Halle, and the World Tour Finals.

I went for the same too. Though I didn't expect Nadal to walk over Djokovic in the first 2 sets, I thought he would put up a better fight. Or maybe Nadal is just too good... Keen to see Wimbledon now.(Original post by Mocking_bird)
Djokovic and Nadal.
Hard to say who will win... but i'm leaning towards Nadal, I think he'll be extra pumped after losing against Djokovic in the final so often recently and I think he will be very reluctant to lose on the court he's renowned for being best on.
Who do you think?

Re: TSR Tennis Society
I really hope Fed wins Wimby. Then he can retire in peace.
I know his retirement is inching closer and closer but it just seems like he isn't finished yet. He's got a couple slams still left and I really hope he can finish this season strong; especially since last year did not go great.
Oh and also, I hope its a Nadal/Federer final...want to see some classic wimbledon matchups not freaking djokervich. -
Re: TSR Tennis SocietyI'm sure at some point during the French open I heard a commentator say that Rio 2016 would be his end point. Surely I must have misheard that?(Original post by .eXe)

Re: TSR Tennis SocietyReally? Well part of me is hoping you didn't mishear that because I enjoy watching Federer's matches. However, by that time I supposed he will have become an after-thought to be honest...especially with the rise of current young players like Raonic, Monfils and by that time I fully expect Nadal to be doing even better as well. I seriously don't think Nadal has reached his prime just yet, while Fed is clearly past his. He was untouchable in 2004-2007. Don't see him going back to that level of play.(Original post by Pandora.)

Re: TSR Tennis SocietyHmm true, dunno why I grouped them together. Guess in my mind Monfils still is a youngster(Original post by JaggySnake95)
Raonic is 4 and a bit years younger than Monfils.
