Changing your MA degree

Hi, I got an unconditional to Dundee University to study European Philosophy with French but after looking at the European Studies course by chance I realized I kinda want to do that instead. Should I email the uni to ask to be considered for the European studies course? I know MA degrees are flexible and my friends told me just to wait until the first day of Uni and tell me advisor then cause it doesn't really matter and switching is pretty easy, is this true? thanks in advance!

Chances are you'll be able to take the first year modules alongside your current degree, switching your final Honours option at a later time.

I did a BSc at Dundee so I've got no idea about the MA regulations, I'm afraid.
