Your university timetable

I am interested to know what people's timetable at University is like for those who do computer science

What level? BSc, BA, MSc etc
What year? 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc
Which University?
Name of degree?
Timetable? Any days off? Half day Wednesday?
Contact time? How many hours at University?
What time you leave University to go halls or home?
Time you wake up?
How long does it take to get to University?
Which day you do food shopping and laundry? or you just go when you feel like it? How long does it take you?

Thanks

BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science, level 3. Monday 11-12, Tuesday 10-11 14-15 16-17, Wednesday 10-11 12-13

However I have a research project to do, and on average i spend 18-25 hours a week in the lab either doing experiments or collecting data. Most days I am in 9-5 all in all, unless i finish in the lab early

Since when was biomedical science = computer science and IT? :holmes:

OP, one of my friends who was in their second year of computer science last year, and my housemate who does financial computing this year (second year) (both BSc's afaik) seemed to have manageable timetables. They both had enough time to socialise and do other things, always had Wednesday afternoons off, as did the whole uni, and I think they have 12-14 contact hours a week. Our timetable across the uni runs from 9-8, so they have lectures/seminars/workshops within any times there, and as for the washing, shopping etc., my housemate does it when she feels like it. Tbh, it totally depends on the uni, I know some unis who say lectures after 6 are madness. The timetable changes each term as well. Although, they also seem to spend a lot of time on uni computers, after hours, to use software and do extra work.

What time you leave University to go halls or home? After the last lecture, whenever that is

Time you wake up? Depends when the first lecture is. I can probably get up 45 minutes before the start time at least, perhaps 30 minutes depending on what building im going to.

How long does it take to get to University? ~ 10-20 minutes

Which day you do food shopping and laundry? or you just go when you feel like it? How long does it take you?

When I feel like it, time depends on many factors (how much i need, how busy it is, etc)

I went to the Leicester Uni ucas day and was told by one of the students that contact hours in the first year were 'about' 25..

surely that can't be right? seems really high....
