Newly Diagnosed

I have just been diagnosied with a Specific Learning Disability. I have been told that I can get a proof-reader for my assessed work at uni, but I have an essay due in Monday and the full report won't be due for three weeks. Do I tell my tutor my diganosis now and ask them to contact the support people for confirmation or should i just wait as they probably won't be able to get a proof-reader in time anyway?
Speak to your tutor nonetheless - you never know, they may be able to arrange a proof-reader for you soon

Speak to your tutor.

You may be able to get a proof-reader really quickly, or you may even get a deferral (if I have major problems completing coursework by the deadline I got deferrals - maybe this is something you could look into?).
