The more skillful you become, the higher elo you gain and the more enlightened you become as to
how you can climb elo. I'm only D5 so I'm nothing compared to D1 or Challenger, but having made this far, from Silver 3 this season no less, I now know how I can go up ranks. If I lose a game in D5, I don't just blame it on my feeder/troll teammates and say I'm in elo hell; I just try to better myself.
Before someone says you can't compare trolls/feeders in Diamond to those in Silvers, you're right, you can't; however, I was once Silver this season and it's no elo hell. Also, every single elo is the same: you get trolls, bad players, afkers, feeders etc etc. The difference being, in lower elo you don't get as punished in game as much you do in higher elo for this. Therefore, I'd say that it is more punishing to have afkers or whatever in higher elo because the enemy team take full advantage of it. Conversely, it would be fair to say that in higher elo people are more accustomed to 'solo carrying' so know what to do in these given situations.
Furthermore, in higher elo, once a team has the early or mid-game advantage, it's all over. A lot of my games hit the 20 - 30 minute mark. It's very, very difficult to seize control once you're on the losing side which often happens.
All in all, it's all the same,
