What is Leeds Uni like?

Applied for French and European Studies joint honours at Leeds and I got an offer for BBC the other day. Was just wondering if any current students could tell me what it's like there, as I don't know whether to have it as my firm or insurance choice. Thanks!

Well what's the social life, student union and accomodation like? Which halls would you recommend for accomodation? I was also wondering,does the uni have a good feel to it? Cheers
The Student Union is excellent, I think a lot of students don't realise how good we have it compared to other unis. Socially, Leeds caters for everytaste and has a ton going on, particularly musically. Accomodation ranges from very basic to the full works. I can totally reccomend Leeds, it's great.

its brilliant in every way, as long as you make sure your department is good and that your course will definitely suit you. i forgot to check that bit, my course claimed to be "music, multimedia and electronics" but turned out to be more like 'electronics and the science of sound'. its a bit crap, but my social life is brilliant :biggrin:
