Have you been inside Opal 1 before? How would i go about viewing it? I've emailed them - no response :frown: do you think i should just go there and ask?
Out of interest, why have you chosen those two?

Well, Central Quay and the anvil are still in mind aswell but i don't know which one to go for :frown:
The reason for the pinnacles is because I've viewed it and it's really really nice! And i like the fact that it has 2 and 3 bedroom apartments which has drawn me in because i like peace and quiet especially for my work! it's just the location that's putting me off a bit as well as the price!

I've got opal 1 in mind because i absolutely love the location!
Just below West street, right in the middle of town, close to uni etc.. And it works out cheaper than the pinnacles, central quay and the anvil i think (including deposits and what not)

The reason why i am put off central quay and the anvil is because of the company it is run by.. I keep hearing bad things about unite to do with deposits not being given back, furniture breaking, over charging and all of that. I like central quay and the bedrooms/view but it's not too close to uni and there's no TV in the living room (i went to view it) 2 or 3 bedrooms aren't available and i'm not too keen on the common room (not that this is too important). The anvil seems nice but it is just the price and the company. It also works out to be more expensive than the pinnacles as well! So I've narrowed it down to these two!
Have you had any experiences/know anybody that has had any kind of experiences with unite accommodation?

Sorry for the long commentary! I got carried away lol!

Have you considered uni accomodation? Are you going to be a first year? I don't know anyone who lives in any of those places (so not much help) but I think if you apply to any you've mentioned you'll find it harder to socialise and be with mainly Hallam students. Obviously it's up to you but it's something to think about...

Well, i'm going into my second year next year you see so i want somewhere more quieter.. There are first year accommodations i could apply for like the forge but i keep hearing bad things about the company unite, so places like Leadmill as well. But i would rather be in more quiet accommodation.

Ok that's why I was confused. You'd probably get better answers if you posted on the Hallam board...
