Re: Girls: how often do you wear high heels?Yep, no flats here(Original post by benjamin2k)
I think it should be law that every girl should only be allowed to wear high heels, flat shoes are for men and a girl is too masculine if she wears flat shoes instead of heels. So are you a good girl who wears heels every day?
. Actually I'm so used to heels now that I find it uncomfortable to wear flats. Mostly I wear stilettos with heel heights in the 3-5in range. Love 'em!

Re: Girls: how often do you wear high heels?Sorry but every guy I've been out with and almost all my guy friends prefer girls to wear heels. And no way are they slutty!(Original post by TitanicTeutonicPhil)
Heels are slutty and mess up your feet (just compare the shape of your big toes from, say, age 7 with how they're now). Few guys actually like them. Girls should be required to always wear skate sneakers or Vans slip-ons. Cutest things ever. -
Re: Girls: how often do you wear high heels?Heels are hot providing the girls got nice legs. Although we dont expect you to wear it every day(Original post by EmmaBurton)

Re: Girls: how often do you wear high heels? You shouldn't be in pain if you wear heels regularly - your body will adapt to them. And shortened calf muscles matter only if you're going to go back to flats.(Original post by loonyplatypus)
But would you really want a girlfriend who is in excruciating pain for most of the day and in the long term has shortened calf muscles which leave her unable to walk properly with or without heels?
If you spend a day in heels you'll realise that it's not as easy as you think.
Wearing heels is only difficult if you're scared of them so do it only occasionally. -
Re: Girls: how often do you wear high heels? What can I say? You don't know what you're missing(Original post by QI Elf)
Have you tried wearing high heels? They are the most uncomfortable things known to man, both to wear and walk in. My feet want to cry even after a couple of hours in them on a night out. There's no way I'd wear them during the day, I don't always wear them on a night out if I don't think my feet can take it.
. Honestly, if you wore them regularly, as in day in day out, after a week or two you'd get used to them and then you would find them perfectly wearable without a second thought.

Re: Girls: how often do you wear high heels?OP, I'm guessing you find this attractive then?(Original post by benjamin2k)
All the girls complaining they're uncomfortable should just get used to it..you look so much better with heels and flats are for men so just put up with it and soon you'll feel fine in them

Cos this is what your woman's feet will look like after wearing heels every day.Last edited by staring.space; 06-02-2011 at 20:48. -
Re: Girls: how often do you wear high heels?
nope, iv actually been told by my doctor not to wear them all the time(not that i did before) as i have a really messed up back and joints and it can make it much worse, i can wear small heels for the odd night out but if i wear them several times in a row it makes getting out of bed for a week rather difficult, i think ill take being able to go to uni and work over the off chance that a guy may notice my shoes.
plus in winter, heels + snow/ice = bad combinationn and me flat on my bum in the cold. -
Re: Girls: how often do you wear high heels?oh fair enough then I don't know whether to say that its bad that your so picky or good that you actually pay attention(Original post by benjamin2k)
men notice..i'd never go with a girl who didn't wear heels..they make girls legs and bum look so much better

Re: Girls: how often do you wear high heels?i would assume what you're saying it it annoys you because these girls think they're all that walking around school because they have heels on and look super fashionable and/or slutty and they should get over themselves....(Original post by Bubbles0ox)
Only on nights out, hate it when girls walk around my sixth form in heels. Not even nice heels.
but that's only an assumption...
i think... why hate on them? if you don't like them, ignore them, why does it concern you? it's not your business! so what if someone wants to wear a certain type of shoe? so what if you don't like them?
i'm not trying to be aggressive, and fair enough if it's just a "pet hate" but it makes me really sad when people bitch about other people like that and it's like... so what? they can do what they want, it's not hurting you!
if you have this opinion, why do you even own any heels/more than one pair after you realised this? heels can look great but when girls stumble and totter about, moaning about how much it hurts, unable to walk or dance for long... what's the point?(Original post by QI Elf)

why would you do that to yourself if you don't like it! it loses the image appeal if the image is you in pain, moaning

I own two pairs of high heels, so not that many and I'm careful when I wear them. For instance I only wear them when going out to my union where I don't have to walk far to get there or back home, if I was going into town, there's no way I'd wear them. I've once walked four miles back home from a night out, barefoot, whilst my friend wore my flat shoes and I carried her high heels.
I also take lots of plasters in my bag so I can nip off to the loo and bandage myself up if needed to try and help a bit.

And I find flats more comfortable anyway. I've only worn heels on special occasions i.e prom.
