Universities near romford?

i live in grays but romford is the nearest place to me you'll probably have heard of. i'm looking to commute when i go and have been told to start looking into it now, so are there any decent universities for history degrees that are fairly near. any in london or essex are very near and would be good :smile: thanks

Queen Mary?
Essex, Queen Mary and UEL are all fairly commutable. UCL and Kings are in Central London, but I think you can get the train into Liverpool Street from Romford Station, can't you ?

Yeah you can, they're reasonably regular. I know a mentalist at home (Chelmsford,central essex) who commutes to Royal Holloway in Egham,but that's abit extreme. I'd say Queen Mary,Essex or UEL if well...if you really have to.
However, you are limiting your choices a bit...

Essex (in colchester) has a good History department.
