I'll be training in my garage. Might go to Mary's on some Wednesdays, but exams are coming and that's a massive waste of time to travel to. Hari will probably train at a local gym. I think Moiz might be ****ed.

He could always do press ups when his mum isn't watching.

On a side note shared the squat rack today with a PT who was shrugging who didn't know how to use straps - had to physically put them on for him.

Bit of a meh workout - worked really hard but joints weren't really having it, 100% effort, 90% attainment.

    Bench Press:
    60kg x 3
    70kg x 3
    80kg x 10 (Match PB)

    Straight bar cable pushdown:
    16.25kg x 10
    21.75kg x 10
    23.25kg x 12

    Pendlay Rows:
    52kg x 7
    62kg x 8
    72kg x 5
    77kg x 5

    EZ bar curls:
    20kg x 10
    25kg x 10
    27.5kg x 10 + 2

    Chest Fly:
    45kg x 10
    60kg x 10
    65kg x 13

    Cable Rear Delt fly:
    3.75kg x 10 x 2
    3.75kg x 12

    Single Arm cable external rotations:
    3.75kg x 10
    6.26kg x 10

Reason I did Triceps + flyes was because all the benches were taken and I couldn't incline.

Easily one of my ****test sessions today - walked into gym expecting 3 reps for front squat failed 3rd ¬¬

Also Felt knackered after GHR's.... pretty much limped home and sat on the floor for 30 mins.

    Front Squats:
    70kg x 5
    100kg x 3
    120kg x 1
    140kg x 2 PB (failed 3rd - not a true pb 130 x 5 was better)

    Bosu ball GHR's:
BW x 10 x 3 PB (working up to 5 sets of 10 with plastic bar)

Overall not great... appetite has been appalling from college stress... **** imperial

A 140kg double FS is nothing to sniff at. Nice work.

Yeah but its nothing special.... hence the frustration, need to decide whether I should move on to sumo DL's for 3 weeks or change my approach to ME lower lifts in general.

Not a great session - Had 6 vials of blood taken for blood test in the morning (though it's more to do with lack of food/sleep)

    Bench Press:
    65kg x 5
    75kg x 5
85kg x 8 PB (technically not like for like PB though)

    Staight bar cable tricep extension:
    22kg x 10
    24kg x 10
    26kg x 10 PB

T bar rows (not sure how to add weight for these):
    40kg x 8
    60kg x 8
    70kg x 8
    75kg x 8

    Lat Pull down:
    55kg x 15

    EZ bar curls:
    30kg x 10 PB
    30kg x 6 (tired)

    Rear Delt flyes:
    3.75kg x 10
    3.75kg x 12

    ME lower

I'm actually embarrassed to post the sumo DL video up..... the form was shocking, easily one of the worst lifts I've done in my life. Need to print out some instructions and bring them to gym next time. Also had no belt or slippers.

    Sumo Deadlift:
    60kg x 5
    100kg x 5
    140kg x 5
    160kg x 2
    170kg x 5 PB - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ey8I...el_video_title

Then moved onto Stiff legs, slightly better:

    60kg x 5
    100kg x 5
    140kg x 2
    155kg x 5 PB - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BQDP...el_video_title

Need to work on form.... might drop the reps and go for trips at a higher weight. Liking the SL's though.... got the form locked in on that ****.

On another note shared the bar with a chick for the first time today.

Another pretty annoying session. Sleep deprived, relatively early training, no caffeine = pussy training session.

    Military Press:
    32kg x 5
    47.5kg x 3
    52.5kg x 8 PB

    DB lat Raise:
    8kg x 10 x 2

Pendlay Rows (gassing by this point):
    52kg x 8
    62kg x 8

    Rear Delt Flyes (pulley):
    3.25kg x 15

We have to do an intercalated BSc next year. Yesterday was the iBSc fair where all the different subjects had little 20 minute talks telling us a bit about them. They also had posters with current students and researchers answering questions.

I'm probably going to do Endocrinology. There's a few modules on appetite, metabolism, diabetes, obesity, and steroid hormones etc.
