Re: BloggersHeyy! Firstly I love your blog! Your content is really good - I loved the religion in fashion piece and the one about red dresses!(Original post by Zaf47)
Hi everyone!
Here's my fashion blog: http://fashion-felines.blogspot.com/
I've been having trouble lately with inspiration! I find it difficult to blog daily- anyone got any tips on how they keep their content fresh? I don't want to be writing the same thing over and over!
xxxx
With regards to keeping content fresh, don't post every day if you have nothing to say
You're morel likely to keep readers by posting less but having good content than you are posting every day just to 'keep on the radar'
Keep up the good work! I'll definitely be following

Thanks for the advice- I guess posting every day would mean losing originality/quality. Definitely something I don't want to do!
Love the look of your blog too- That picture of the carrot is hilarious! Ha ha!

Re: Bloggersstill would be interested in feedback from people, particuarly from people who are interested in vintage stuff(Original post by museobsessed)
So, I've got my blog up and running now. I have 6 proper posts and I would really like some feedback, particularly from people interested in vintage stuff.
Any recommendations on subject material? Any opinions on colour sceme and fonts and general formatting of the blog? basically any opinions would be helpful. don't be afraid to say if you do think something is working.

Re: BloggersHey! You've got some good content there- I like that your posts aren't all about clothes. Posting old videos and songs is a great idea to mix up content but sticking to the theme of vintage- might steal that idea for my blog!(Original post by museobsessed)
still would be interested in feedback from people, particuarly from people who are interested in vintage stuff
In terms of content:
I noticed in your first post you said you'd be writing about your charity shop finds- definitely start on that! I've done a few in the past which have been successful and I always LOVE to see what other people have found in charity shops! So that's always a great idea.
In terms of layout:
A nice layout always draws people in! It's an easy way to make your blog look professional. Yours at the moment is nice and simple but could probably be improved.
Picking a colour scheme is always a good idea.
Shabby blogs is a great place to get a nice background and a lot of them have a got a great 'vintagey' feel to them:

After that make a nice matching header and you're well away!
You've made a great start! My advice would be keep experimenting with layout and keep up the great content!
Will be following you

Re: BloggersThanks so much for all that. Yeh the reason i've not done charity shop stuff yet is because i'm so lazy with uploading photos from my camera(Original post by Zaf47)

Here is my blog: http://hairandbeautylicious.blogspot.com/
I only started it yesterday, and I have lots to write about. But will do it later this afternoon, when I return from work. -
Re: BloggersHiya. I just discovered your blog recently, and I really like it(Original post by Sky_Dream)
Thanks for the thought though, i do appreciate that comment, even if it was made on here
. Sorry to hear you couldn't comment on my blog, i'll try to look into that. I'll check out your blog too, by the way
.
. The design and the content is all very good
. But I'm also having the trouble of commenting, as I can't find any links on your blog to leave a comment. I think I contacted you on Twitter about it too, but I'm not sure you got the message (I'm new to Twitter so I don't get it completely)

I've been looking for good blog backgrounds, but haven't been able to find many good ones through Google.

Hey, thank you very much
. I know, I noticed that the other day, I'm trying to work on that, but I've not really had much time recently, but hopefully it will be fixed soon. I didn't notice your message on twitter either
, but maybe that's just me not looking properly. Thanks though, and good start to your blog

Re: Bloggers
Hey
Mine's pretty new... I don't keep up with it as much as I should do, and I'm probably posting in the wrong section, as it's not really a fashion blog, more just musings and moanings and such
But feel free to take a nosy and comment with what you think, I'd appreciate any feedback...
