Astronomy gcse: how to find observers longitude?

Using a shadow stick, how is it possible to find the longitude of the observer?

I know this is an old thread, but I kinda want to get it answered because I have a similar problem.

So I have the local Noon, and I know the equation of time, so how do I use this to find the longitude?
