Excel 2003 graph help!

Ok guys, here it is, I've made a graph in excel for a module assignment, and the x-axis values in the table are 10,20,30,40.......300, these are seconds. Problem is when converted to a graph they turn into"1,2,3,4........30. Now this obviously isn't the same thing, and so I was wondering, how can I bully/persuade excel to allow me to put 3 digit values on the x-axis?

Just to let you know it's Excel 2003 (presumably that makes a difference) and I really don't want to leave the x-axis title as (secondsx10) as it just looks daft. Thanks for your help, sorry if it's a silly problem.....
I can't remember exactly where the setting is in Excel 2003 (I have Excel 2007), but start by right-clicking on the chart. You're looking to first edit the source data/data series, then set the "category X axis labels" to point to the cells containing the values that you want.
