Just stole all my shopping from Sainsburys?!
Just realised I didn't pay for my shopping, I just walked straight out the store with £30+ worth of food
I used a self checkout and don't remember putting my card in and I don't have a receipt

Should I go in tomorrow and speak to the manager? Or should I never return and hope I got away with it?
What will happen if I don't go see them to sort it out? -

Re: Just stole all my shopping from Sainsburys?!
If I were you I'd just carry on, nothing will ever come of it, count yourself lucky

You really think a big supermarket will be looking to hunt down someone over £30 of food which you clearly intended to pay for by putting it through a self checkout? Not a chance!
If, by some weird stroke of ultra unlikely bad luck, it ever does get mentioned, just say 'sorry, I thought I'd paid for it'.
But trust me, nothing will come of this, other than you being a lucky devil! -
Re: Just stole all my shopping from Sainsburys?!
I would probably not go back, be wracked with guilt for the rest of my life, not sleep for months, and when I do sleep, have hideous nightmares. I would poop myself everytime I saw a police man, and definitely never go anywhere near the supermarket. Do the right thing: tell them.or regret it.forever.

Re: Just stole all my shopping from Sainsburys?!You didn't steal the food if the barriers didn't go off. I'm pretty sure they go off when unscanned food passes the barrier. I'd chillax personally.
Also plenty more fish in the sea. Don't waste your evening thinking about her -

What did you buy?
Please could you list all items so that we can suggest whether your weekly shop theft is worth returning
