Because they're not really pursued/distracted by the opposite sex, because of they aren't that physically attractive. Also have less of a social life as a result.

So they have more time to focus on education.

Yeah. Academic success is a terrible measure of intelligence.

To be fair, I wasn't the hardest working a school/college, but now I've decided what I want to do with my life and what I want to study I am far more motivated and will work really hard at uni. It was harder at school because I didn't want to carry on in education.

It really is. I've generally done pretty well but I've still had moments where I've thought, "well if I'd really tried I could've done this better". Now I have the motivation I'm not going to let that happen. I'm gonna be a master of rocks. Woooo.

Nah thinking I should've/could've is the worst thing to do in life, take it from me. ;/

Just accept what's done is done, learn from it and move on.

Out of curiosity, what do you want to do with geology? I've never met or heard of anyone doing that course. It looks awesome though.

I'm not sure. It's considered a hard academic science so I don't have to actually go into a geology related job. However, I think I'd love to be a geologist.

I'm really interested in the environmental side. But then I also love the geophysical side and planetary science. At the moment I'm not sure where exactly I want to go with it . I've got a while to think about it though.


And to keep this on topic, I'm not the cutest/sexiest girl on TSR unless lads like girls that like to dig around in the mud and play with rocks
