City and Islington CollegeTo all external candidates for the sixth form centre:
Have any of you received a letter inviting you to an interview yet?
EDIT: Today I received a letter from City and Islington College inviting me to an interview on Thursday 10th March at the Sixth Form Centre!(:

Re: City and Islington CollegeI haven't. But they did say that if you're not eligible for a place, they would send you a letter in February. So since February is nearly over i'm guessing we will be asked for an interview. The letter should come in the next few weeks.

Re: City and Islington CollegeI applied for a Btec as a second choice and 6 a levels (including two back-ups so only 4) and at the Btec interview they said that they would be contacting people for the sixth form inabout two weeks (from the 16 th feburary) so it looks like they should be coming around early march,amazing place anyway. And they seemed to offer you places on the day (because i got a place n the btec so it may be the same at the sixth form)

and the place isn't too brilliant, the biology dept is very bad. I was doing 5 a levels then I dropped biology. It had zero relevance for what I wanted to do so no harm done.
a lot and I mean A LOT of my friends don't agree with the biology dept too. But then again.. some people absolutely love it and their enthusiasm is somewhat fiery and they're the ones getting A*s. So it's really up to you -

You can't do 6 A Levels in CNI, they give you 6 options, 2 are back up anyways, on enrolment day, it doesn't matter, you could take ANY 3/4/5 AS you want so yeah, the options are kind of.. pointless.Last edited by Kyuu; 23-02-2011 at 20:50. -

My friend applied for the IB and she had her interview at the same time as A level interviews, on the 10th March.(Original post by CLS94)
