The best music for a disco playlist?

I have to make a playlist for a friend's 18th birthday party and I was looking for some ideas of good songs to put in. There will be little kids there (as in, younger family members; siblings, cousins, etc.), so no really bad strong language, once or twice tops (the requested inclusion of Tenacious D is just about pushing it, to be honest). I've got a load of music that I know she likes and that I know a lot of people who will be going also like, but what kind of things get people actually getting involved and dancing before they're drunk?

Get some hi-nrg **** on there.

Oh, and this.

Katy Perry, and all the current nonsense, and then I'd go for some late 90's early 00's pop...

Everyone loves the Scatman.

Ha ha, not keen on the "current nonsense", but yeah, the pop tends to get people moving, even when it's on the suckier end xD
