How would you pronounce

cela saute aux yeux les choses changent

stuck on the second word!- sorry bit of an ass to ask but could you kind of silit it up!

Can you say *faute* because it sounds just like that. *sort of* rhymes with throat but throat is far too english!

I'd say that. saute is a long 'o' sound and a silent 'e'.

'aux' is normally 'oh' but sounds like 'ohz' in this situation because it makes like a bridge with the 'yeux' *dont know how to explain it*

eg.

je vais aux Etats-Unis
zhjuh vay ohz Aytat-Unee

but

je vais aux musées
zhjuh vay oh moozay

I'm not the best there is for French but that's what I'd do...

and saute is def more of a "sew-t" sound not sort.

yes and soht is the equivalent sound of sewt (as iin i sew a shirt, with a t on the end)

"saute" -> same pronunciation as "faute" (like in "all")
"sotte" (stupid) -> same pronunciation as "botte" (boot) (like in "optimist")

"s'ennuie" -> "sans" (without) "nuit" (night) "e"
"circulation" -> "si" (if) "rku" ("u" like in "une") "la" (the) "si" (if) "on" (we, one)

don't you have at the beginning of your dictionnary a phonetic table explaining the different signs? It helps to imagine the pronunciation.
