Liverpool did that but I emailed them and they said it only applied to people who apply after the january 15th deadline, sure enough when I got the offer it was for the previously stated requirements.
Oh that gives me hope then, but then one place gave me an offer before the deadline higher than what I expected. I shall wait and see, as I've sent one email and they said they are really busy so I don't want to add to their work load with another email!

3 interviews the first time round, pooled, then reinterviewed at 2 different colleges (2 interviews each!) 
i've had all my choices since mid jan!
