Bristol postgraduates 2011/12
Welcome to the University of Bristol forum: where prospective and current students can discuss everything from Rahs to the Coronation Tap, the walk to Stoke Bishop to rumours of hating UWE.

Re: Bristol postgraduates 2011/12
Since most of my tuition is being paid by US student loans, I thought it would be easier to live in a building owned by the University. Also, from what I have seen they look pretty nice. However, I have never been to Bristol so all I have to go on is what I have seen online. Although, I am very open to suggestions of other places to live.

Re: Bristol postgraduates 2011/12
Hi guys! Haven't been around these days...
Regarding accommodation, I had already been checking a bit this gumtree page that Bekaboo mentions. I just glimpsed it, but it seems there are some nice places, and cheaper than univ's places. For instance, 4 room houses for around 300p/week.
Of course, I guess its better to get there and meet the potential house mates beforehand, to make sure you don't get stuck with some serial killer. Any of you a serial killer...?

Hell0!
It was nice reading the series of threads here, I'm not the only one who's flooded with these questions
Good to know!
I've firmly accepted the unconditional for MSc Neuropsychology and my course starts Oct 2011.
I'm just confused about how to go about the whole accommodation process. Most of my funds are from the student loan and I'm trying to save as much as possible, non-university accommodations look nice + a lot cheaper in the long run! Anyone else looking for non-university accommodation/flatmates? I'm an Indian female

Yep, we are all thinking about the accommodation thing as well... I still haven't decided what I'll do. -
